Corporate Profile | President’s Message | Business Information |
We, Farmdo group have been endeavoring to export skilled Japanese technology of renewable energy overseas because we think the energy supply and food self-sufficiency rate issue in developing countries are global problems.
The business we have been into last few years is the “Agriculture×Renewable energy” hybrid business.
Also we believe that our eco-friendly technology which helps “Local production for local consumption” will be accepted in the world where will have a population of 10 billion in the future, as the sustainable and useful system for local economy.
We cannot live without emitting greenhouse gases (GHGs) such as CO2.
Although we can work on the reduction of them through daily effort, the huge amount of them are emitted by industries. The Japanese government started the GHG emission credit system that creates a incentives for us proportional to the reduction in our emissions which we can then trade with other organizations.
In foreign countries such as Mongolia, we are working on the reduction of GHGs using Solar Farm® technology which we got patented.
The reduced GHG amount is compensated between the governments of Mongolia and Japan, this is how we contribute to global environmental protection.
The technology of Solar Farm® is evaluated as a “kill 3 birds with one stone” business model which not only reduces CO2 emission but also increases food self-sufficiency rate and promotes an idea of “local production for local consumption”.
Our company has been awarded “Polaris Medal” by the government of Mongolia. This is the highest prize awarded by the president to foreign people who contributed to the development of Mongolia. The ceremony was held in the Embassy of Mongolia in Japan and the medal was handed by S. Khurelbaatar, the Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of Mongolia to Japan. (He is resigned August 2017.) |
